Dr. Elizabeth McMurtrie MS, VMD

Dr. McMurtrie established Spring House Animal Hospital in 2001 with the goal of providing the level of care she gives to her own animals. She graduated from Villanova University with a BS and MS in biology. In 1990, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. In 1998, she completed an oncology residency at The Oncology Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Shortly after, she passed the necessary requirements to become a Diplomate of The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners®, Canine and Feline Medicine and Surgery. When she is not at the office, she enjoys running, gardening, cooking, and walks with her husband, Jim, and their Norfolk Terriers.

Adrienne Flynn, CVT

Caryn Reitenbaugh, CVT

After graduating from the Manor College Program of Veterinary Technology, Caryn Reitenbaugh began working at the hospital in 2010. She spent one of her internships vaccinating and treating animals on the Zuni Indian Reservation in New Mexico. She also worked for the City of Albuquerque Animal Services and volunteered at local animal shelters. Previously, she used her business and finance degrees in the corporate world, but her passion for working with animals led her to Spring House Animal Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of her family and friends and spending time with her two dogs, Ruger and Butters.

Tiffany Matchett, CVT

After graduating from Harcum College in May of 2011, Tiffany Matchett began working with us. Soon after, she passed her board exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Aside from nursing sick animals back to health, her other passions at the hospital are dentistry and providing a clean environment. When not in the hospital, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching the Flyers®, and cuddling with her bulldog and cats.
